Preventive Health Services
Access to high-quality preventive health care is essential to a thriving, sustained music community. MusiCares partners with trusted, thoroughly-vetted vision, dental, and physical therapy practices nationwide to provide biannual clinics, and partners with leading telehealth providers for women’s health, hearing health, and nutrition, all accessible on your schedule.
When music professionals experience unexpected medical or dental expenses, financial strain can quickly become overwhelming. MusiCares provides financial assistance to help cover eligible medical and dental bills, offering support when health challenges can disrupt both personal wellbeing and professional stability.
Music industry professionals are a uniquely vulnerable population, with hearing loss having an impact on quality of life, communication, work ability, and in turn, employability. MusiCares partners with Tuned, a virtual audiological platform, to provide on-demand hearing health services to music professionals across the country. In addition, throughout the year, MusiCares is onsite at select music festivals and awards shows, where performers, crew, and staff can sign up for free earmolds and receive custom earplugs in the mail.
