Mental Health Support

MusiCares provides financial assistance to mental health treatment and facilitates access to community referrals and placement. Examples of treatment may include:
- Individual, couples, or family therapy
- Mental health residential treatment
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
- Psychological assessment and testing
- Psychiatry care
MusiCares offers weekly virtual, emotional and addiction recovery support groups led by licensed behavioral health practitioners. Weekly groups provide ongoing peer connection, professional support, and tools to support long-term well-being across the music industry.
MusiCares partnered with The Jed Foundation (JED) to provide a dedicated digital hub offering suicide prevention and mental health resources tailored to music professionals. This dedicated site features articles that address common stressors of working in the music industry and a self-paced suicide prevention training that addresses warning signs, how to navigate conversations and connect individuals to available resources.
The training equips individuals and their teams with actionable tools to help foster a stronger culture of care across the music industry create a healthier music industry
Participants can earn an industry-recognized certificate of completion.

MusiCares offers Mental Health Trainings to groups of music industry professionals including managers, record label staff, production crew, and more. The training offers an extensive overview of best practices and resources, to ensure music industry professionals across the scope of the industry have tools to support their mental health and well-being.
